This is not an everyday experience...

All relationships have challenges. They take effort and intention to maintain and grow. A loved one coming out as transgender is a unique situation, and it's not something that happens everyday. That can feeling overwhelming and it may even feel like there is no way of recovering the relationship.

Finding support for yourself may be hard to find. Most of the resources as focused on the needs of the person transitioning, but you have your own unique needs that should have support tailored to you. Support that is private, safe, accepting, and will help you find a way through the challenges that make sense to you.
